How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was in that, I am stress-free. I managed to achieve most of my goals with the transfers. Actually I do not have high blood pressure anymore as per the doctor's assessment. Lack of money contributed to this. I could ask my husband for money and I could get angry when he denied me. I am glad that nowadays I have concentrated on farming which has been of help.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional goal in the next four months is to cement my kitchen. I am tired of repairing it every now and then. Cemented houses are also easy to clean and maintain compared to the mud-walled houses.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is having a sense of privacy. I was able to build a bathroom inside my compound using the transfer. Before then, I had to take a shower in the river. Most of the neighbors could take a shower by the riverside but there was no privacy because of the people who were passing by the riverside. I can not explain the joy that I feel having a bathroom in my compound. When my visitors come to visit, I no longer feel embarrassed when it is time to take a shower because I have a decent place where they can bath in.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My expectation in the next six months is to invest in farming. This is what I am good at. I want to have more produce that will sustain my family for a long time and extra which I can sell to meet family goals.

My new goals include building a new toilet for myself and also buying a cow.

My life is currently different from how it was initially because we are now happy in our house.

I expect my life to change in the next six months because my son will be able to join college.

The biggest difference in my life is that I will be able to pay school fees for my son who is now going to join college. I initially could not be able to afford the fees.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face right now is ill health. Lately I have often been sick and I lack funds to get proper treatment. I am afraid that I might succumb to these diseases if I don't get proper treatment.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is around midday. I have lunch with my family at this time and whenever I am eating with them I usually feel very happy.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to enroll my son in a college. He wishes to train as a plant mechanic and I am really hoping to make his dream become a reality.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is having worked tirelessly in my farm last year in order to pay school fees for my son who was in his final year in secondary school. The school where he was learning used to accept maize as payment for school fees and this motivated me to really till my farm in order for him to complete his secondary school education.
