How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Being able to own a house wit iron sheets is something that could not have been possibly if not the transfer. I will stop going to cut grass for thatching the house every year.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give directly has done well, and i don't have a problem with it. It empowered me financially, such that i am able to start building a house

I have not spent the money yet. Once the rains are over, i am going to start building a house. I have already bought iron sheet, nails and bricks.

was very happy and realised that i am no longer a poor person.

The biggest in my life i no longer do piece works to find money to feed my family and now i have enough time to look after my house and take care of my children and my children are now looking good in the uniforms that i bought them.

I have spent the transfer on food, iron sheets, cement, uniform for my children and saved some to buy fertiliser for my farm.
