Before the coming of GiveDirectly, I have been planning to build myself a decent house but I could not afford because of the poverty life that I am living. I was living in a small outside room of one of my the community dwellers who decided to help me because my father house was very occupied with so many family members. Through the transfer from Givedirectly, I was able to buy zinc and other building materials for the construction of my house. Therefore, after living such a poverty life for so long along with my family, my new goal have been to invest into business, moreover, which is helping me now to earned more money to take care of my children for a better future.

Moreover, the transfer from Givedirectly have also made almost all the community dwellers in my village to improve their lives by building houses and educating their children for a better future.

I have been struggling to make ends meet. Things have been so difficult for me. I had nowhere to stay. I moved in my uncle's house. I could hardly afford my daily meals.
