How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago,I can pay my children's school fees after my father who was helping me passed on. I can also afford most of the things I could not. I am able to fend for my children.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I do not have a new goal but I am building on my current one, that is expanding it. I am hopeful that it will do well.

Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
Yes, I do have a new goal. Before receiving transfers, I never dreamt of becoming a big business person in the community, but it is my current dream now. I am envisaging a time when I will be the supplier of household goods in the whole community.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I think if it were not transfers from Give Directly, I would have been jobless now, but this is not the case-I run a shop that enables me glean some little earnings. This has enabled me to enroll my 2 children in a better school that will improve their performance too.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next 6 months, I would like to see my business improve. From the business, I would like to gain some degree of financial independence.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life that I can mention since I started receiving monthly transfer from Give Directly is the shop that I run. I started the shop with the first transfer that I received-I received the money then bought some few goods at a wholesale price that I confidentially run. Again, since I believe the transfer is guaranteed for 12 years, I keep on expanding the shop without contemplating it collapsing in the near future-I will use my monthly income to sustain it!
