How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I am now healthy and happy because I eat good food. Secondly, I now sleep on a comfortable bed. This would not have been possible because I had an old tattered mattress. I was able to acquire basic house hold items that I could not buy due to lack of money.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well to help all the poverty stricken people with cash transfers. In my opinion, there is nothing wrong that GiveDirectly has done so far.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought iron sheets worth UGX 500,000 and bricks worth UGX 300,000. I also bought cement worth UGX 200,000. The balance of UGX 500,000 is what I plan to spend constructing my house.
