Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was on my farm one afternoon my brother-in-law came to have my husband and I informed that GiveDirectly has sent the transfer to everyone in our town. Upon receiving this message, my husband hurriedly ran to town with my Sim Card to check our mobile money account. According to him as soon as he got in town to the network place, he received the transfer. Out of happiness, he ran back to me on the farm with celebration and the both of us were very happy.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Before Give Directly could send my transfer, I have been making a garden, producing palm oil and burning charcoal to feed my children and to pay their tuition. Since I started receiving my transfer I was able to pay my children tuition without doing hard work.
