What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer to buy window panes which I fixed on my windows, bought steel door to enhance the security of my house. I spent some amount to clear a land dispute, I spent some amount to repair my furniture. The remaining amount, I gave to my to enroll for his driving lessons and also bought other household goods which I did not have.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am now respected in the community because of the transfer which has enabled me to build a good house and also change my life for better. Thank you GD for the transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has very respective staffs and also it has brought alot of development in our village. I have not seen anything that GD did mot do well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy 30 pieces of iron sheets,40 pieces of round poles ,20 pieces of roofing timber and 6kg of building nails that I use to build my house.I also pay school fees for my children and bought food for my family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I no longer paid rent as I used to.I have build a new house.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on buying mattresses both mine and for my children and the remaining cash I spent on paying school fee for my children so that they are not sent home due to fee arrears.

I was very happy when I received my transfer. It was the best moment in my life.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I wish to start up a business and sell second hand clothes, it's a good business and I believe it will take me somewhere better.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
I am proud of of bringing up my children by offering them the basic needs required for life despite the fact that I toil so much to get money for me to take any step ahead.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I have longed to have my own house, I got married as a second wife because the first one ran away, I've ever since been dwelling in her house and still have got no money to construct my own. It's a real tough struggle.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in the morning when I've woken up from the sleep feeling strong enough to face the day with much positivity.
