What did you spend your third transfer on?
I had a small house which couldn't accommodate us well with my teenage children so when I received my third transfer I built a house and bought furniture.I also bought food for my family with the remaining transfer.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my spent second transfer on paying 30,000 KES school fee for my two children in high school, bought 15 iron sheets at 12,000 KES which I'll use to build my own compound after elections. I then used the rest of the cash on other litte home errands.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that am relieved of the school fees stress now that I managed to pay for my children's fees running up to January next year. Thanks to GiveDirectly.

The moment when I received my money I felt honored since I had saved for long towards a business ,and here at last I would be able to immediately invest in this venture of my dream to generate income for my family, as much as I am a widow.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face right now is lack of enough money to pay school fees for my children who are in secondary schools. If I am unable to raise the required amount they may have to defer their studies.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is around midday when I am selling fish. The atmosphere is usually lively as I interact with customers and this makes me very happy.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that I can finally build my own house and forget about paying rent.
