How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have planned to complete my build before receiving the transfer. Building a house has been primary goal which has improve my life.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly had done very well for me and my family. They have change my living condition with a better place to sleep. GiveDirectly had not done anything wrong.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have spent my most recent transfer on building my house. I was not having a place to sleep. I was sleeping in a broken thatch house. Building a house has added respect and improve our standard of living. It had been my dream to own a house. The intervention of GiveDirectly had enable me to realise this dream.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was on my way from the farm when I met people coming from the town.They told me that Givedirectly has sent the money promised. I was a bit happy, but also worried whether my money has arrived too. With no hesitation, I double up my speed to get home and quickly ran up the hill to check my balance. I saw that my money has landed and I started to rejoice.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I was feeling bad, but now I am happy because of the money from Givedirectly.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I was excited about the opportunity to fulfil my dream of owning a house. I don't have my own house currently, and where I stayed is not really good. The greatest challenge of fulfilling my dream is attributed to insufficient money who earns very little. Paying my children's tuition has been another difficult task due to the same money problem. Therefore, I used portion of the money to settled my children's at school. I also bought some construction materials to start my building project.

What is the happiest part of your day?
Really in the past 6 months,my dreams are not met yet,but when I weak up in the morning and see myself and children all alive,I am grateful and hopeful for a better future,when there is life,there is hope
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I am discouraged every day when I see my living place is an old thatch house,my children are not in school,it pains my heart a lot and that is my greatest challenge now.
