What does receiving this money mean to you?
"If I'm successful to receive GiveDirectly Cash transfer I intend to go back to school and start a large business in order to substain my family. Even though I'm engag in small business like Fufu, but the money I make is not enough to pay my tuition fees and make a large business.I have dropped from school for the past one year, due to my first pregnancy ,and I'm currently in the 11th grade. When I gave birth I didn't have any money to further my education because the money I earned from the small fufu business is what I used to spend on food and medication."
What is the happiest part of your day?
"In the last six months what has brought me joy or happiness is when my Uncle Prince gave me 3000.00 Liberian Dollars in August. I was happy and started thanking God for what he did for me, because I never had money to buy footwear for my son and the fact that my uncle gave me money that I didn't work for to buy my son footwear brought so much joy to me."
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"The biggest hardship I'm faced with right right now is the lack of finance. I have been out of school for the past one year and I'm very uncomfortable with the situation. I make small fufu business but the money is not enough to maintain my family and pay my tuition fees. sometimes I help others to burn their farm to produce charcoal and sell to provide food for my family.I will really appreciate any help to improve my livelihood."
