What did you spend your third transfer on?
I sell cereals so when I received my third transfer I decided to boost as this is my main source of income. The remaining I used to pay school fees for my daughter in primary boarding school. I thank GiveDirectly for the money.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent most of the second transfer to buy generator for farming, where by I use it to water my farm and a good produce for selling and my consumption . I also spent the transfer to start a small scale business of selling cereal as my source of income. The remaining balance l spent to pay school fee arrears for my child who is in primary academy school.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, have l do not need to worry whether it is not raining because l know l have my generator to water my farm and get a good produce for selling and for my consumption.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on paying school fee my child enrolled in a Special school for the Deaf (4,000 KES), leasing land to grow rice for commercial purposes (4,500 KES) and also bought a sheep that I wish to rear for wealth creation.

The moment when I received my money I was very excited since I had been eagerly anticipating the money to help me accomplish a few things, thank you.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
Our first plan is to use part of the transfer to pay school fees for our child who is in a school of the deaf. Secondly, we intend to use another part of the transfer to dig a borehole and buy water pump , that we plan to use to irrigate our farm, where we intend to plant trees. Lastly, we plan to use the remaining amount to start a small business for selling grains like maize and beans, for family income.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement we are very proud of is, having our own home, which we built using savings from my motorcycle taxi work.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship we have faced is, inadequate income to start a business.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evenings, when I'm relaxing with my family, after having supper.
