How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago in that I am no longer begger as people use to call me in my village. Through Give Directly I am able to pay fees for my school-going children with no difficulty since this was the major problem I was facing.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I am planning to buy a cow majorly for milk. I have a lot of confidence that in the near future it will give me milk for sale and I am assured of daily income. I am working hard toward this project by saving part of my transfer because it will be my additional source of income.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Since I started receiving my transfers from Give Directly I have been using to pay school fees for my child. I am proud as a mother my child has been having a humble time and this has improved her attitude towards school. It reached a point he told that one day she will disappear from home to go and join his friends to look for a job because of how he was being treated at school. I had a lot of stress and prayed to God to open me a financial door to enable me to take her to school because by then he was already home for two weeks due to lck of school fees. Little did I know Give Directly was my God. The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that my child has really improved on his classwork, this has resulted due to the frequency of school fees payment, and also he has enough time to learn at school.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to have changed in the next six months in that I will be having a cow to milk. I am planning to sell milk in order to get money in return. I Know Give Directly is moving to other areas and It is not long before they stop sending me the monthly transfers. I am not afraid because I will have started earning from this project. I know it will be able to sustain my family through the proceeds of the milk business.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
At the beginning of the year, the schools are always so strict on the fee payment and usually require a certain amount to be paid within a certain period. This put a lot of pressure on my family as we had to strain to raise enough money to meet the required amount. With the help of GD transfers which have played a very big role in the fees payment part for our kids, we have managed to pay most of the fees and we are now more relaxed now.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
At the moment, our only goal is to ensure that the school fees required of our children are paid on time so that they can fully stay in school without being sent away. It is usually very heartbreaking to see our kids stay at home while their peers are in school learning which is what we are really trying to avoid by ensuring that their fees are paid on time. We, therefore, plan to be using all of our transfers to pay their fees untill they are cleared.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Due to my low income, paying school fees for my son in secondary school and my daughter in college is very tough and always stresses me. Receiving GD transfers has however made my life less stressful because I know that at the end of each month, we will have money to pay a small portion of the school fees so that the kids can be allowed to stay in school without any interruptions of being sent home due to delayed fee payments.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I have been wishing to buy livestock such as sheep or goats using GD transfers as a souvenir or a reminder of GD's impact in our lives later when the project is over. This is also a way of starting on livestock rearing that can someday be turned into something bigger when they reproduce and fetch enough money for any desired projects. This, however, has not been possible because most of my transfers have always been channelled on school fee payment sparing nothing for any extra expenditures. My hope is that within the next few months, I will be able to spare some of the transfers to achieve this dream before the transfers are over.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
The last four months have been good to me because my kids have been able to go to school without being sent away due to school fees arrears issues. I have ensured that I pay the fees in good time to allow the kids have some ample time in concentrating on their studies.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have been buying new iron sheets every single month which I intend to use to erect a new house in the foreseeable future. The reason why I want to build a new house is because the one I live in currently is too small for my family, which makes life quite unbearable for us. It is high time I built a house for my children so that they can have their own privacy as we also have our own privacy with my spouse.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
There have been several changes in my daily life because at times I get so broke financially to an extent that I lack even a single coin. That is the point where the cash has always come in handy for me because it helped me buy the things I need the most such as food for my family.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change because I will have built a new house for my family. Finally, it will be time for the kids to enjoy their lives freely by having their own privacy in the little rooms as we also have our own privacy with my husband.
