What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I am bless to receive transfer from Givedirectly, I intend to make pepper farm that will help me, my daughter and terminally ill grandmother with money to sustain us. My spouse and me were at Lofa Bridge at the gold mine hustling, but due to financial difficulty and the seriousness of my grandma sickness, I returned to be by her side to care for her. Since my returned, things has even worsen for us in that I don't have any one to help brush bush so that I can plant something. However, any help from Givedirectly in terms of cash will help me pay people to brush bush so that I can be able to plant peppers, bitterboiled, etc. This will bring in additional cash flow that will provide food, medical treatment for my grandma and at the same time help me and my daughter.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What makes me happy in the past six months was when my sister, Jenneh Thomas pay us a visit on the last Thursday in September of this year and offered me$700.00 LRD. This makes me very happy because I was thinking where I was going to get money from to buy clothes for my daughter. Even though my daughter has some clothes, but she doesn't have outing clothes and that became worrisome for me as a mother. I couldn't go anywhere because there was nothing better in terms of clothes for my daughter.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship facing me now is money to help me and my family with food and other basic necessities. Even though I don't have any one to brush bush for me so that I can make farm, but at times my brother assist with brushing for me to plant small cassava. The harvest from there is not enough that I would be able to sell some and get extra cash to cater to my grandma health. Therefore, any kind of assistance that will be provided to me by Givedirectly to help me improve me and my family lives will be highly appreciated.
