I used 40000 KES from my second transfer to construct a house of 30 iron sheets, which cost 40000 KES since I had a very small house and was bothered with constant repairs. The balance was spent on buying foodstuffs and clothes for my family; as well as books for my children which they lacked.

When my house got burnt, I was left with nothing apart from the clothes we worn. So, when I received the money, I was very happy and overjoyed as I was now sure that I will get a new house and everything I lost in the fire and even more.
