How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been because am happy to have money that can support me to go back school and do a course, most likely teaching.

In my opinion, givedirectly has done well uplifting people's livelihood from extreme poverty by giving money to acquire livestock, pay school fees, start businesses, build iron sheet roofed houses; and there's nothing it hasn't done well.
