Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I used to have a small house which could could not fit my family well and I used to strain as my children used to go to the neighbours house to spend because I did not have enough space in the house. Since I received this transfer, I expanded my house and I feel at peace with myself because of the same. Thanks to Give Directly.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I would want to improve the state of my house by buying windows and steel door and to improve my business so that I may be able to meet my family financial needs.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have bigger a house which accommodates my family well, my children have never been sent home for the same and we have never gone without food ever since I started receiving this transfer.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
Currently, I do not have any new goal as I still want to accomplish what I had planned earlier.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is getting the basic needs for my family since the family is large yet my income is small and unreliable.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is morning and evening when I get customers to carry to work and back home respectively.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I plan to spend my transfers on constructing a new house that will be spacious enough for my large family. Our current house is too small to accommodate us comfortably.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement was building the house we currently live in with proceeds I got from farming. It was a hard experience coupled with inadequate rains and lack of farming tools but I am happy I managed to build a house from the venture.
