What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Being a mother and a father at the same time is the biggest challenge am facing right now because I only depend on casual labour and charcoal burning to feed my family of 3 children, cloth them and to give them quality education.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I lost everything in my household after the flash floods invaded my village. All the beddings, furnitures and utensils were swept away, iam very happy because of Red-cross Kenya who chipped in to help us with food and non-food items and now I have utensils enough for my family.
What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
When I receive my transfers iam planning to buy a piece of land for my family on the safe grounds because we are living in somebody's land.i want to have my own land so that I can get stability and live a comfortable life with my family.Iam planning again to buy bed and mattress, food and chicken. Chicken business is booming in my area because there is ready market and they don't have high maintenance to keep them. Iam planning to expand my house with the remaining transfers.
