How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I would have been sad because I would be watching my friends improving their lives and living in good houses. I am very happy that I am one of the people who has benefited from GiveDirectly.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did an amazing job. The staff we well behaved and they made sure that all the issues were resolved before they left our village.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used the money to buy iron sheets and timber because I am planning on building a house. I kept some of the money so that I can buy bricks for the house.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
The funds will really help. I have bricks which are already burnt but i have been lacking money to build a house. The money will help me build a house. I will also buy iron sheets and cement. I want to have a nice house. I will also buy food. We been lacking food here for so long.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Mostly i try to be happy despite all the troubles. When i am happy, my life works smoothly.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The main challenge is a house. Honestly, i don't sleep comfortably. When it rains, the whole house leaks.
