Other than being able to plaster our floor within the past four months, I have also managed to buy a new mattress. There is a great difference in my current life as I sleep better in a new mattress that does not hurt my back and in a less dusty house. The mattress I had before was very thin and old and I would most at times feel the bed on my ribs which greatly affected my sleep because I would wake up earlier than necessary just to avoid satying on the bed.

Now that we have managed to plaster the floor of our main house, we want to keep the spirit of hard work and plaster the rest of the house. We have agreed to be combining our transfers as a family to buy the required materials which I know will be possible if we stick to the plan and we are hopeful that we will succeed before the project ends.

Over the past few months, my wife and I have managed to pool resources including the transfers that we have been receiving from Give Directly and bought the necessary construction materials that were used in the plastering of the floor to our house. The floor was previously smeared with mud and plastering it has brought a great difference in our daily lives as we no longer have to deal with dust around the house as was the case before. My wife is even more excited about the new development because this has given her a break from the constant smearing that she used to do to keep the floor in good condition which was becoming a bit tough lately due to her age.

with the plans that we have of plastering the rest of our house, I hope that in the next six months, we will be living in a much better environment. Plastering the entire house will make it look more decent and easy to maintain, therefore, we will not have to constantly worry about smearing to keep it in good shape.

We have plastered our floor and we no longer have to deal with dust that caused us a health problem such as dust flu and jiggers. My wife has also taken a rest from the constant smearing of the flour to keep it in good condition on a monthly basis.

With the realization that these transfers are soon coming to an end, my wife and I have come to an agreement that we will be combining our next transfers so that we can be able to buy the necessary materials to plaster the rest of our house which is still made of mud. So far we have only managed to plaster the floor and we wish to complete the entire house before the transfers are over so that we won't spend on smearing anymore.

I recently bought a new mattress and a new blanket since those that I had before were torn and old. I could not sleep well especially during the rainy season because of the cold. Ever since I bought them, I have been sleeping comfortably and even after hard work during the day, I can occasionally take a nap to enjoy the comfort of my mattress.

In the next six months, I hope that I will have plastered the rest of my house so that even after transfers, I will have something to always remember GD years to come.

My life is currently different from how it was in that, I can easily meet my daily needs. Now, I can afford to buy food. We afford to eat thrice a day which is something that was unheard of before. We can even manage to change our diet and eat a balanced diet. Initially, we could not afford such meals, we just had to repeat eating the ones that we had on the farm. At some point, I was afraid we could contact nutritional diseases. I am also glad that I was also able to furnish my house using the transfers.

My new goal is to plaster the walls of my house since I want it to look decent. Maintaining a mud-walled house is usually hectic since one has to keep repairing it season after season. The materials for repairing the walls are also difficult to find and we are forced to walk miles before we find them. The diseases that come with this type of house are dangerous and expensive to treat and this is why I am determined to cement it.

The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is that I managed to finish cementing my house and I can attest that it looks decent. I am not affected by dust. The mud-walled houses are prone to emission of dust particles which might cause infections but I had no choice but to stay in the house. I have also eased the hustle of smearing the walls after every rainy season. As a farmer, I could not manage to take care of my needs leave alone cementing my house. I am glad that Give Directly came through to help the needy people like me to meet their goals.

I expect my life to change in the next six months in that, I will have fully renovated my house. I normally feel embarrassed when I have visitors because of the many holes in my roof and walls. I also don't have furniture that my guests can use in case they come over and beddings. I have been taking them to sleep at the neighbour's which has brought shame in my life for such a long time. I know that when these goals are met my neighbours will stop talking about me.

My life is currently is different from the way it was four months in that I feel financially relieved and I can easily meet the basic household needs without straining.

For the next four months of my l ife I have an additional goal of saving money for plastering my wall after I'll have plastered the floor.

The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I feel proud and happy I have already bought cement and I believe soon I'll plaster my house.

In the next six months, I expect to have plastered the walls of my house so that it can look presentable.

My life is currently different than it would have been without the transfer since I am able to eat well. Before I could not get the three daily meals with ease and I would go for day without anything to eat.

In the next six months, I expect my life to change widely. I expect to dress well because I shall have purchased enough clothes. I also expect to live an improved lifestyle in terms of food.

The biggest difference in my daily is that I have found much ease in acquiring the family's basic needs as compared to before when I could really struggle.
