What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer to buy a cow which will provide my family with milk and also her calves can be used to pay my dowry, I bought a sack of maize for consumption and household furniture. The remaining amount, I spent to buy other household goods which I did not have.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I live in my own house and in my own compound unlike before when I was staying in my co wife's house who passed on and also bought paid school fees for my stepchild. I would not have achieved all this without the transfer
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has brought alot of changes and development in our community. I have not seen anything that Gd did not do well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent the larger part of my second transfer on building a decent three roomed house in my own homestead and now I am happy and peaceful at heart since I no longer stay at my late co -wife's house truly it was not a good experience as my husband was the most affected having flash back of his late wife .I bought a diary cow and one bag of maize for consumption of my household.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
My main house is old and pathetic and therefore I spent the whole of my first transfer on buying some iron sheets in preparation for the construction. I am eager to build an iron-roofed house.

Our main plan is to build a new house, buy household items like furniture and utensils and lastly pay school fees for our children in primary school.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement we're proudest of is having saved money after harvesting sugarcane which we later used to buy a cow.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship we're facing currently is on constant sickness, we're persons living with HIV/AIDS and most times are bedridden.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I'm cleaning around my house.I pride in a clean house.
