Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My greatest pleasure is that I cleared a longtime debt. The cash transfer was sent at the time when I had a loan. I had attached part of my farm land as collateral which limited our food supply. And now that I have repossessed the farm land, I feel so happy and enthusiastic in the future more than I felt before..
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I received the cash transfer, I felt so much joy because I needed money to offset a debt burden and pursue other plans.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent the first cash transfer to pay a loan worth UGX 1000000 and I purchased a cow worth UGX 450000 and household items ( sauce pans, utensils) worth UGX 70000. I bought four chickens worth UGX 55000. I gave my spouse UGX 100000 to shop for clothes. The balance will be spent on food.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to retrive the piece of land that I leased so that I can have a bigger space that I can cultivate to raise food. I will also buy oxen that will support in my farming activity and a cow that will provide milk for my family. I believe if these are made possible, my family will be well supported.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest in the evening when I have been able to provide for my family and everyone is healthy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I am faced with is inadequacy of land for cultivation. I leased out a bigger portion of my land because I wanted to raise some money that would enable me to enrole for a course. To this end, I have not been able to retrive it because I don't have money. What is left for me to cultivate is too small to support my household needs. I can not farm as I would wish to because of limitations of space.
