How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My children now go to school without sending them back home for school fees as opposed to the old days, I now have a plot of land from which i will till my children's food and a cow for milk purposes. Being a widow, i feel so honored by GD, May God bless you richly.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD considers all people regardless, the field officers are so polite. they actually do everything very well, I appreciate.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought a cow at 800,000 Ugsh, I also bought a plot of land at 950,000 Ugsh, on this I made a top-up 120,000 Ugsh from my first transfer in order to clear the plot of land.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is taking care of my 6 children single-handedly without support of a husband. Sometimes I fail to make ends meet in provision of their basic needs.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is that time when my children are playing and they have no health complications. I draw my happiness from the happiness of my children.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means restoration of hope for a descent life. I had lost hope of ever buying land and constructing a house but receiving this money resurrects this hope.
