What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent most of my third transfer to buy cattle which I have used to pay dowry for my wife and also took some amount of monye to my in-law's as dowry. I spent some amount to buy half sack of maize for consumption and the remaining amount, I spent to buy some household goods which I did not have.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I would not have received the transfer, I would not have built the house am living in which is more spacious than the one I was living in which was small and uncomfortable and also I would not have paid my wife's dowry which was long overdue.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly are very truthful and trustworthy because they did exactly what they promised. I have not seen anything that GD did not do well in our village.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my second transfer, I used 20000 KES to construct a new house with 25 new iron sheets on the roof. I also bought a sofa set at 15000 KES since I did not have proper seats in my house before. I then bought a calf at 10000 KES to rear in my home. The balance was all spent on buying dry maize and other food items for my family since we did not have enough food in the house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I now leave with dignity in a new house with a new roof, unlike before where I was living in a leaking house.
