How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before I could start receiving my transfer, I have been struggling hard to build my family a house but I could not afford due to the hardships and I have to feed and send my children to school. Upon receiving my transfer, I was able to buy zinc and other building materials to build a house for my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectlt is doing extremely well to empower us in this hard world we find ourselves in and I'm grateful to them for the level of support.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought zinc, my children tuition was paid and the balance transfer was invested in my charcoal business.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I previously had a planned of using all of my money on building a new house but now, I have decided to used some of my money to pay my children school fees. Because the person who have been sponsoring them in school, is not well and can't afford to pay their school fees this year. So I to quickly allocated portion of my second transfer for their school fees.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
The good things that GiveDirectly has done for people in our communities are beyond expection. Giving people money that they didn't work for is like a miracle to me. I personally have not seen anything wrong that GiveDirectly have done. A great thanks and appreciation to GiveDirectly for helping our community.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used some of my money to buy a bundle of metal sheets to add up to the previous ones I have for my new house. I used the balance money to pay my four children school fees for the first semester.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I received my money under the big kitchen while lecturing with my friends. I felt very pleased, I was happy that Givedirectly fulfilled their promise.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The money did well for me. I have never held such big money before. I feel like a real man, because I now have means to get achievements in my life.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought two bundles of zinc to build my personal house. I also paid my daughter's school fees. I save the rest of my money for health emergency.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
The recipient said that if he received the money, he will send the money in Monrovia to paid his children school fee, he will also reconditioned his house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
He was happy because he was not sick, and few buyers came to bye his ground pole that he cut in the bush, he sold the pole and in exchange, the buyer give him half bag of rice.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The recipient said that he doesn't have enough food to feed him self, he doesn't have mattress to sleep on, because he doesn't have mattress to sleep on lot of creeping insert can beat him at night.
