What did you spend your second transfer on?
My second transfer was spent to buy two cows and a bull which was used as dowry for marrying a wife, and the balance to buy a few household items like a bed, a mattress, bed sheets.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well giving me money which has enabled to marry a wife and acquire household items like mattress, bed and clothes. In the community, people have constructed iron roofed houses, changing the appearance of the village from predominant grass thatched. I don't see anything it hasn't done well.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been because when I go out of home, I come back and find food and water readily available, thanks to a wife I married. In addition, I sleep on a bed and mattress comfortably. Before, I used to come back after labouring, start looking for water and cook for myself, then sleep on very uncomfortable floor with a mat.
