Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was so happy when I received the cash. There were people who wanted to scare us that the money is connected to satanism but we did not believe them. Nothing bad has happened to us. We are just happy.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I now have household items like a matress and food which I did not have before. I bought building materials like bricks which I plan to build a big house with because the house my family lives in now is too small. I am just so grateful.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used the money to buy maize, a matress, iron sheets, bricks, glasses and iron sheets.
