How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am soon completing payment of an acre of land which I will utilize for crop cultivation. That has relieved me off stress that had been on my back. Before, I had only an acre of land that did not facilitate crop production for enough food for the household.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well by making follow up after cash transfers have been sent with intent to find out whether the transfers have indeed reached you and spent without any risk. I did not see what GiveDirectly has not done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my cash transfer for depositing for an acre of land worth UGX 1,200,000 and the balance of UGX 432,000 I still have it in my mobile money account. I intend to pay that one for the same when we are signing the final agreement for the purchase of it.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I have reduced the most disturbing problem of farm land which I know very soon I will be owning my very own piece of land that I will farm on.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was so happy the whole day, I thought it was a dream to have received this money but it was reality. All that time I thought it was a talk talk thing but I received my transfer. I was going in and out of the house to cross check whether it was real money because it was unbelievable to receive these sum of money.

I deposited UGX 1500000 for farm land, I bought Household items @ UGX 142000 and Saved 58000.
