Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
From the time I received the cash transfer, my life has been much better because we sleep on a comfortable bed. The family is also healthy as compared to the past. I am also happy that I was able to appreciate my inlaws having stayed for over 18 years with their daughter without paying dowry.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The money was delivered early morning that day. It was at the time when my wife was pregnant but had developed some complications. I was relieved and happy when I received the money.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent UGX70000 to buy a bed and UGX120000 to buy a mattress and bedsheets worth UGX150000. I have spent a portion of the cash transfer on making bricks. I also gave my inlaws UGX500000 as part of dowry. I also spent the remaining cash transfer on buying food and settlement of other expenses.
