What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
Receiving this money will help me to buy livestocks such as goats. I will buy four goats which would cost me $80 because each goat is sold at $20. This will help me in the future because I will be selling them to provide all the basic needs such as food, clothes and body lotion for my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I was the happiest in March because I had sold four goats which I had to pay back a loan. I had a loan of $60 which I borrowed when my spouse was sick. I sold each goat at $40.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The challenge that I am currently facing is hunger. Five years ago I used to sell charcoal which made it easy for me to provide food for my family of five. I stopped because the forests started clearing up. I now rely on casual jobs to make money but they are scarce at the moment in my village which makes it hard for me to provide enough food for my family of five. I am only able to provide for one meal a day.
