What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on school fees. I used my transfer to pay for my late brother's children.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The children for my late brother are in schools because of this money and they are feeding well and I am happy about that so our life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well to sensitise us about the program and give us the money through mobile money, which was easy for us to access anytime from anywhere.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on paying school fees for my brother(the late)'s children to enable them acquire education.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Being able to pay school fees for the children is the biggest difference in my life since i was failing to send them to school before the transfers due to lack of money.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
On school fees and solar panel! I used my first transfer to pay school fees for my 3 be children late brother's because they were lacking school fees and schools we demanding for their fees. I also used part of my first transfer to buy a solar panel for my mother.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I woke up I saw a mobile money message on my phone and it was from GiveDirectly as they had promised us. I was extremely happy.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend the transfer on building my family a house because the house we currently have is small.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is when my garden of rice gave me a good harvest ten years ago. I managed to buy a small piece of land from the money I made.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life was the death of my daughter due to sickness she suffered for a full year.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is afternoon because this is when I work and get some money to support my family.
