What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my first lumpsum transfer, I plastered the walls and floor of my main house which cost me as follows: 8000 KES on a lorry of sand, 7000 KES on a lorry of ballast, 15000 KES on 18 bags of cement and I paid 8000 KES labor charge for the plastering. Besides I paid secondary school fees for my son with 5000 KES, I spent 3000 KES on school uniform for my children and the remaining 3725 KES on a goat.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I have been living in a poor environment since my husband died but thanks to GD for giving us transfers that have enabled me renovate my main house; I am now living in a cleaner and safer environment as than before, the biggest difference in my daily life.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I plan to spend the transfer to plaster my house. I also plan to spend the transfer to pay school fees for two of my children in high school. I also plan to spend the transfer to start a business so as to increase my income.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is that I have been able to work hard bought a mattress and bedding.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I have faced in life is lack of a reliable source of income to pay school fee. I have school going kids but I struggle to pay their school fees. Sometimes they are sent away from school and I have to beg the school principal for them to be allowed back in school.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I am in the market selling tomatoes. I feel happy because it is a source of livelihood to me.
