Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The cash transfers enabled me to acquire a bull that will ease farming. I also acquired household items. Previously, it was hard whenever I received visitors, I had to borrow plates and sauce pans to host them. I can now freely host visitors at home.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I saw the message in the morning that day. When I read the message, I felt very happy because I needed money to support my family.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I lent out UGX50000. I bought a bull worth UGX900000 and the balance was spent on purchasing household items such as clothes, utensils and food.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I intend to buy oxen and an ox plough with this money. It's been very difficult for me to plough my agricultural land since I relied wholly on hiring oxen which I hardly got on time.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is during evening hours when I hang out with my friends at the village centre while playing games.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced is limited land for agriculture. I have tried hiring some land but it's very costly for me to afford. This consequently has affected on the amount food available for my family to feed on.
