What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent the larger part of my third transfer on paying the land which intend to buy partially.I paid school fees for my three children who are in primary school. I also bought school uniform and school shoes for my children too.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that I now have my own business of vending second hand clothes in a near by center next to my village and through this I am able to provide my family members their basic needs with the profits I make in the business.I am thankful to GiveDirectly .

In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well by giving unconditional cash transfer to the poorest households since there living standards have improved as they have used the money to buy whatever they lacked like buying livestock and paying school fees for their children respectively.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to use my transfer to buy school uniforms, books and pay fee for my children. I plan to purchase household furniture because my house is empty. I also plan to revive my boutique business that collapsed due to lack of capital so that I can comfortably meet the financial needs of my family.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is that I am a young widow dedicated to feed, clothe and educate my children through hard work.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face in life is that I lack money to meet all my basic needs being that I have no proper source of income. At times my children are forced to go hungry when I have no money.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when my family wake up in good health.
