How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
No, my goal is still the same. It is to build a house for my family and I. Where I live is not in a good condition anymore. It is a thatched-house that leaks too much. So, I am happy for receiving this my last payment. It has allowed me paid for the sawing of planks to start the construction of a new house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I feel blessed of being on GD's programme. Through the programme, I have been able to purchase enough items for the construction of a new house. It is a big thing for me and I fine it as something so well done by GiveDirectly. I am not aware of any unwell things done by GiveDirectly.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent my last transfer on paying for the sawing of planks to start the construction of a new house. I live in a thatched-house that leaks too much. And I am tired of living there anymore. So, I decided to build a new house with iron sheets roof.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before receiving payment from GiveDirectly, my desired was to built a three bed rooms house in Buchanan for my Mother and my Children that are in school in Buchanan. For this reason, since I started receiving my transfer, I immediately started buying building materials such as zinc, zinc nail and roofing nail. Now with my recent transfer I used some of the money and bought planks for the roofing of the house. Additionally, the remaining money was used to pay the carpenters.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly has done a tremendous job for us, especially for my family. Building a house for my children to leave the village and move to the city for schooling was almost impossible until GiveDirectly came to my rescue financially. Happily my dream is gradually coming to pass and hopefully before the coming school year my kids will finally be moving to the city. This bring me a great level of joy and relieved. Thanks to GiveDirectly for this life changing opportunity. Therefore in honest judgement I haven't seen anything wrong done by GiveDirectly.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
With my desired to built a house in the city for my Mother and my Children, I have been buying some of the building materials using my previous transfers. However with my recent transfer, I used some of the money and bought some pieces of planks for the roofing of the house. Furthermore, the remaining money was used to pay the carpenters. With this dream come through, I am very happy and I say a big thanks to GiveDirectly.
