I paid debts @ 1220000, Hired farm land @ 300000, Paid school fees @ 80000, Bought maize @ 30000 And transport 3000.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD well to sentize people on GD program, about the transfers and people followed the pieces of advice from GD staff. This sentization help recipient acquire property that never owned such as houses, motorbikes, land and so on. Everything went on well.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have started a produce business which has enabled me earn some income. Thanks to give directly for such a wonderful opportunity.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to get back my two gardens which had been mortgaged, bought a solar panel for lighting at night, house utensils like plates, a big flask, basket for going to the market, clothes for the children, and food stuff to take care of feeding at home.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment i recieved my money, i was so happy. The message woke me up at night, i read it, confirmed by checking my account balance, then next day spent it settling down my excitement before withdrawing it the following day.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is happiness, and i feel more healthy than before when you had to think what to eat for day, but now, i have food readily available at home.

The biggest hardship I am faced with is lack of food, the fact that cultivation has just been done.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when my children come back from school.
