What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer to buy iron sheets which I have used to build my house and the remaining amount, I spent some amount to complete payment on a plot of land I was buying.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I now live in a beautiful house which is plastered and no longer have to look for cowdung to smear my house. This was possible due to the transfer
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well in sending us transfers which enabled recipient to change their lives through building houses and starting business. I have not seen anything GD did not do well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on purchasing two cows to help in provision of milk for breakfast and even for sale. I also purchased some household items such as sofa set, utensils and many more that I lacked in my house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I have experienced a very big difference in my life as I feel I live a very peaceful life today, I don't walk around begging for left over foods as I did before.

I spent my first transfer on buying some of the household items such as table, bed, utensils and the remaining cash I spent on buying food to feed my family.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
Our first plan is to use part of the transfer to build a bigger house, because this one is small, and is in a bad condition. Secondly, we intend to use another part of the transfer to buy water pump to use in our horticultural farming, where we plan to grow tomatoes and onions. Lastly, we plan to use the remaining amount to buy furniture.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement we are very proud of is, having kept local poultry using savings from our casual work, that we have been selling to pay school levies for our children.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship we have faced is, providing food for our family, due to inadequate income.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the mornings, when I'm having breakfast together with my family.
