Receiving this money is a blessing to me because i believe my dream of owning a shop will now be a reality. I have always wanted to open a shop but i lack capital to start. I want to have a shop because we do not have a proper shop for groceries here as such we travel long distances just to buy simple things such as soap. This money will help me to have all these basic necessities in my shop and people do not have to travel to long distances to get these.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in the afternoon because that is the time i usually have my first meal of the day. When i wake up i try to do some work to earn money which i use to buy food. So, in the morning am usually busy and in the afternoon that is the time i am free and i eat. Some days i even stay all day and only have supper if i do not find money during the day
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i have faced in my life is lack of a good house. My house is grass thatched and it leaks during rainy season. Sometimes I have to stay up all night during rainy season because i can not manage to sleep on a wet floor. I do not have a bed as such i sleep on the floor. I try to do some work to find money so that i can save to buy iron sheets but due to other problems i face i always fail. My house would cost around k100 000 to have iron sheets and i believe i will now be able to achieve what i have always wanted
