I would have not achieved all these if it was not for the GiveDirectly transfers.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will complete plastering my house, fit doors and Windows in order to make it a comfortable place to live in. It is dusty, and very cold at night due to poor shattering which is affecting the health of the household members.
I will be able to pay school fees for my children in time in order to make sure that they are receiving adequate education. This time round, my children are sent oh of school due to non payment of school fees which has affected their progress at school.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is at around 11:00am when my children had gone to school and they have not been sent out of school due to non payment of school fees. That gives me room to plan for the day's programme with a bit of calmness.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face in ny life is inability to break the viscious cycle of poverty. I can not afford to get income that I would spend solving family problems like paying school fees and medical bills.
