Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Before receiving this transfer, I used to sleep on every small mattress without a bed that was uncomfortable. After receiving my transfer, I was in position to acquire a bed and a bigger mattress which has enough space hence comfortable night sleep. I am currently sleeping in a grass thatched hut that leaks whenever it rains. Having got this transfer, I am in the process of acquiring construction materials that will be used for constructing an iron roofed house.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I became very happy because I knew that the money will enable my acquire a bed for the first time, a better mattress and utensils.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my transfer to purchase a mattress, a bed, utensils, clothes for the family members. I have not yet spent UGX 1,200,000 but I am planning to spend it for buying construction materials that will be used to construct an iron roofed house.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Iam a widow left behind with 6 orphans and it's quiet challenging to meet their demands, besides I do not have land. This money I will spend on buying land for farming. I will be carrying out crop farming inorder to improve on crop production in the family. Once There is increase production , feeding , educating and provision of other basic needs will be easier.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest moments is always afternoon hours after lunch. I chat with my children while advising them to study hard for ther better futures.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is poverty. After becoming awidow I was forced out of my late spouse's land and I donot have where to farm yet this could be the only source of earning. Iam experiencing serious hunger since I do not have enough food at my home. My children are malnurious because of poor feeding.
