Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I have deposited for an acre of land which makes me feel happy. Most of my children are boys (7 out of 10 children) and in my culture parents have a duty to secure for them land. This I was not in position to do because of lack of money. I am very grateful to GiveDirectly for helping me sort part of this problem.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I became so happy when I received the money from GiveDirectly. This money brought healing in my life, from that moment I stopped worrying because I got the answer to problems I was facing.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I bought a cow of UGX 600,000 from my first transfer. I deposited UGX 1,000,000 for a piece of land. I used UGX 100,000 for buying food and thatch for renovating my hut.

Receiving the money means I will buy an acre of farm land that will support in growing crops. After some time, I can sell crops and buy oxen that will support in farming. I own only two acres of land which I have constructed part of it my home.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in te evening after completing most of my household work. I relux with my spouse while planning for what to do tomorrow.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardhsip that I face in lack of enough land in order to promote large scale farming. I can not pay my children's school fees in time because of low output due to limited land. The little produce realized will be split among competing demands which affects other priorities.
