How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have a new goal which is to build a house for myself and Educate kids with my transfer.

Givedirectly is doing everything well in my opinion.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My goal is to fix my house because it is not in a good condition anymore, I also want to keep on supporting my four children in school until they can graduate. I know when they are educated, they will have better jobs in the future to take care of me in my old age, that is why I want a good business that can generate more money for my family expenses.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well by helping us unconditionally, they are also kind and truthful in their processes, they make sure that recipients are satisfy with the program by checking on us all the time to know whether there is any problem that should be settle. I don't know anything that GiveDirectly is not doing well in this town for now.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used my third transfer to buy more building materials to start my house project, I also paid three of my children school fees and the remaining amount was used to improve my business.

I want to rebuild my house because it is not in a good condition, I also want to keep supporting my children in school until they can graduate, I want to own a good business that will keep supporting my family even when GiveDirectly leaves our town.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I love GiveDirectly way of talking to me anytime I am being interviewed, they are also fair in their processes and they are willing at all times to settle any problem we encounter in the program. I have not noticed anything bad about GiveDirectly for now, for me, all is well.

I used my second transfer to buy zinc so that I can start my house project, I also paid my children school fees, I used some of the money to improve my little business that I was struggling over so that it will keep helping to support my family.

The moment I received my transfer I was feeling very good. I didn't work for it and I was gifted something so special

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Doing the rainy season every it rains we will have to wait until the rain stop before going to bed and when we are slepping and it is raining we will have to sit one side of the room until the rain stop. If I'm successful to receive the cash transfer, I will used part of it to buy cement, bricks and zinc and change the condition of my house. It has always been my dream to recondition my house but due to finance I have not been able to do so.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months what brought me joy or happiness is the time I went to visit my parents in August and I met them healthy after staying away from them for the past one year.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The major challenge we are face with is cash, my husband and myself only source of income is the subsistence farming. Doing harvest season we will try to sell some of those produce like cassava to attend to our daily needs, buy most days when we take the produce to the market
