How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
No I didn't set new goal, my old goal to build my new zinc roof house is my concentration.

GiveDirectly has not done anything bad , GD has improved my life immensely for to own a zinc house isvery much historic in my life.

GiveDirectly has done nothing bad, GiveDirectly has come to modernise our living conditions, take us from nst to mattress.
The institution is so fair that the staff don't even drink water from us.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
The house I am currently living in is a family house, my late husband build this house for his five wives, so no one has absolute ownership here. I am entitled to a single room in here, that is the reason why my children are not living here to take care of me at this age. I am so happy that GiveDirectly have come to help us with cash grant, so I will use my own portion of the transfer to buy zinc and build myself a house so my children and I can be able to live together exclusively in our own house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Today is my happiest day since the last 6 months, I am full of joy and happiness because this is my very first time to handle a phone for myself. Throughout I have been sad because of the hardships I have been going through since my spouse passed away in 2018. I want you to extend thanks and applications to GiveDirectly and the Donors for such a huge initiatives.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My challenge now is I don't have my own house. This house I am currently in belongs to 4 of us and is embarrassing. When my spouse was alive, he was the one regulating the affairs of the home, since his death, thing has been going very differently because women living together especially from different family background is a problem, we sometimes quarries over little things. Currently, I am not feeling good about living in this house anymore.
