What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer to buy cement and sand which I have used to renovate my house. I paid laborers who renovated my house, I bought two sheep for rearing and other household items which I did not have. The remaining amount, I spent to buy food for my family and also gave my spouse some amount to restock his business.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I now live in a more spacious and plastered house than the one I was living in which was much smaller and also I have household furniture which I never thought I could buy. All this would not have been possible without the transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly uplifted the living standards of recipients in our community through cash transfers. GiveDirectly should educate recipients more on how to spend the transfer to change their lives.
