How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before receiving the transfers,i never really thought that i would be able to buy new iron roof sheets for my house as i had no means to afford them. My house was really in a bad state and the roof was leaking as well. With transfers,i have been able to improve my house ,something i could never have done before.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give directly is really doing well with the cash transfers as we are able to get ourselves needs that are unique and different among individuals. I would only advice that they should not be leaving out people for the program. Everyone one should be enrolled. We still have some households here that have not been enrolled and are still left with so many questions as to why they have never been enrolled.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Most of my most recent transfer has been used to buy some furniture for my newly improved house. I have bought some a couch and some plastic chairs to furnish the interior of my house.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I'll be able to furnish my house. I only started working as a teacher at a nursery school so we're still getting on our feet. We live in a rented house while we build our own and this money will speed up that process. I'd like to have a fridge and sofa set in my house. This money will allow me to do that.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The birth of my baby boy, he is 2 months now and we've never been happier.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The challenge I in my household is good. We didn't harvest enough last season because we didn't have enough fertilizer and the land isn't fertile. So whenever we find money we start with buying food then everything else.
