How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?

So, I am very grateful to GiveDirectly for giving me this helped. Through it, I have been able to buy enough cement to plaster my house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I am very thankful to GD for doing well for me by giving me money to improve my house. Ever since I built this house, I have not been able to complete it. I spent my last transfer on the purchase of 8 cement bags to plaster the inside and outside of my house. This last transfer has really helped me enough. I was able to buy more cement to improve my house to make it comfortable for my family and I.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
"I am building a house, but I have not been able to complete it due to lack of finance. When I receive my transfer from GiveDirectly I will use portion of it to buy materials so that I can complete my house project, and used the remaining one to buy fishing net because I am a fisher man".
What is the happiest part of your day?
"In the last six months, I heard that GiveDirectly was in the county and I also heard that GiveDirectly was only working in the rural areas and not in the city. I was praying and hopeful that GiveDirectly could visit my town and now it has happened. That makes me so excited ".
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"The challenge I am currently facing is lack of finance. I am a fisher man but the proceeds from the fishing is not enough to complete my house project, buy a new net and also cater to my needs ".
