How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am very happy because I have managed to buy things that I could not have managed to buy on my own. I am also grateful because this year, I will apply fertilizer in my maize field.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I think GD is an outstanding organisation. In a village set-up, many people benefit from the program as compared to other NGOs who select only few people.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When I received my transfer, I bought some bags of fertilizer in readiness of the next growing season. My sleeping place was not okay and I bought some beddings such as mattresses and bed sheets. I also bought some bags of maize. Last time,my harvest was not enough because of lack of Fertilizer.
