Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy Because now my school going grand child will now have uniforms and I can feed them which is always my worry
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I am happy very happy because now I have food and my children are clothed .This to me is a big difference. We are nolonger sleeping hungry as we have maize for food .
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent the money 20 cement for my house. I already have a house but it does not have plaster outside. I bought cement so that I am able to plaster my house and it will be properly finished. I bought 4 bags of maize for food since I did not have maize of my own . I went on and bought kitchen Utensils such as pots and plates because I only had 2 pots so I needed to add more. My children did not clothes so I bought them clothes so that they be decently dressed.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
The money means food security for our family. We shall use the money to buy food and fertilizer for our gardens since farming season is just getting started. The other money will got towards buying clothes and beddings for us all.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Afternoon is always a good time to chat with family and other relatives.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Poverty has always been our biggest hardship.
