How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My parent died 14 years ago. They left me with nothing. In all these 14 years I have been struggling to make a living. Barely making it. I used to live in a small dingy grass roofed shack. I can not even call it a house. I have finally been able to buy materials to build a house to live in. Give Directly made that possible. I am forever grateful for this opportunity. I can not thank you enough for changing my life this way. My house is almost finished thanks to you.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly is doing a really good job of changing lives. For most of us, we have finally been able to afford to improve our living conditions. This is something we only dreamed of before but were never able to achieve.
