How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My previous planned of renovating my house still stand. But I have a new goal of using some of the money for my medication. I'm not well, so I'm saving my money to buy my zinc and fix my house and use some to go to hospital for proper check up.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
All of what GiveDirectly has been doing is good. Imagine, receiving this amount of money that I didn't work for is a blessing. Nothing wrong GiveDirectly.

I have not spent my money yet because I have to collect all of my money to renovate my house and use the balance for my treatment.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was on my farm harvesting my rice when heard my phone ringig so i took a quicks looed at it only to see the transfer payment my heart leap with so much joy that i started to dance because this was my first time in my life receive such an amount of money. I rushed to town to show my message to my daughter.

The biggest difference in my life daily is that i am able to buy the kind of food i want to eat and and buy my good bedsheet to slepp on

I will spend my payment on fixing my house by roofing yhe house with new zincs, putting new plank windows,

What does receiving this money mean to you?
My house has been leaking when falls and it becomes unbearable to sleep or sit in, so if I am to receive the transfer I will renovate my house and open a little business to sustain my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I haven't seen anything that would make me happy, because just last month (July) I was in herbal home with my son and he is still sick and he now lives on our farm.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I have been sick for the past seven years and almost got paralyzed but I give God thanks for saving my life that I can walk around and meet my family again, the challenges I am facing right now is money to get food, it's not really easy since my husband died and I too been really sick.
