How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
There are one major goal I set before receiving this transfer .My goal is to invest my last transfer in to building new house. My current house is very old and is at the verge of falling. I have been in great worried about how to generate money to rebuild my house.My left hand was armpited years back. I am not physically fit to do any hard wark for money.Thanks to Givedirectly for empowering me financially to start building my new house I believe that with my transfer from Givedirectly, my dream to live in decent house will come to pass.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Givedirectly is actually doing well for everyone in this village.Through Givedirectly cash support, many recipients who couldnot afford money to build zinc houses are now building new decent zinc houses. Some recipients also used their transfers to pay thier children school fees. Thanks to Givedirectly for the kind gestures. Everywork Givedirectly is doing in this community is okay and nothing needs improvement.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent my most recent transfer to hire three cashual workers to cut 400 pieces of sticks in the bush to start building my house. I am presently building three bed rooms decent zinc house . Thanks to Givedirectly for the cash support.This transfer has brought changes in my life. Due to hardship,I was unable to build my dreamed house but now, I am empowered financially by Givedirectly. I used my balance transfer to buy one bag of 25kg rice for eating.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I'm so thankful to GiveDirectly for their support, my new goals is to build another house in my village. I want to build another house because the house I'm living in right now has leakage all over, and I'm a disabled person, I don't have any farm at all, life has been so hard on me because of my disability, I will sat at home the whole day doing nothing, to even get food for my family used to be very difficult for me. My children was out of school because I never had money to paid their fees. but when givedirectly came into my village and enrolled me and started giving me money, my life began to change. My life is not the same anymore. now with the support from givedirectly, I have paid people to cut sticks to build another house, Now I have money to paid my children school fees, and I also have money to support my family. My children are all healthy and in school. Many thanks to Givedirectly for their support.

Givedirectly has done very well in my life and that of our village, givedirectly has changed our entire village with so many new houses, givedirectly was able to enrolled everyone in my village, I'm so happy and thankful to GiveDirectly for making my dream come true. There's nothing that givedirectly hasn't done well

I'm planning to buy 3 bundle of iron sheets 30.000LD to change my leaking thatched roof. I paid 4,500 to cut stick for my project. I also paid my children school fees, and the workmanship fees. How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My plan is to improve my house and make a very large farm. Am a handicap my condition cause to goe through lot of expensive. I overwhelm to be part of this great program. Changing my house roof to zinc alone is more than good things am happy and satisfied.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was attending convention in Buchanan city when I received my first transfer to my phone. I was very much excited and did not share the information with any one because I never wanted people to know. I was moving from one place to another in the convention. I can't still believe my transfer. My left hand was amputated since 2014 due to sickness, I am not able to do any hard physical work. My family has been under going lotof difficulties due to poor health conditions. My wife has been the only person providing meal for the family. Thanks to Givedirectly for the cash support. I believe that with my transfer, My wife will invest in to farming activities inorder to generate more money to take care of the family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference made in my daily life since I started receiving payment from Givedirectly is that I am now one of the happiest person in this village. My wife is now preparing regular meal for the family and we are hopping of getting money from Givedirectly to settle some of our domestic problem. Thanks to Givedirectly for everything. I believe that a month from now, my children will start to grow fat.

My house is leaking, I used the most recent transfer to buy 2bundles of zinc inorder to reroof our house from thacth to zinc.I also paid school fees for my daughter in school. Thanks to Givedirectly for empowering me financially. Since I was born, I have not hundle such a huge money before without working for it. With Givedirectly kind gesture, my suffering will come to an end soon.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Right now I am living in a house built by my late daughter, due to a storm that broke my house. Therefore, when I get this transfer from GiveDirectly, I will use it to rebuild my house, and the balance to make business.

Over the past six month I was able to get cash from my children in Monrovia for the upkeep of my family.
